Centred on the theme of “Rejuvenation”, this event will help you reset, regain energy, and emerge stronger as you begin to embark on your own journeys of growth and change.

Datuk Nicol Ann David
Former world number one Malaysian squash player, Datuk Nicol Ann David, is shaping future athletes through the Nicol David Foundation, and empowering young people through sports and education.
What has been the most transformative personal journey you’ve been on? How has this experience moved you to live your life differently?
The most transformative personal journey I’ve been on was my transition from being a professional squash player all my life and having to let go of that identity to come to terms with my retirement from squash. It was a challenging one because emotionally, I had to break up from my core to be able to be open to other possibilities for myself in my next phase of life.
I’m grateful for the tough emotional journey I went through to come to the realisation that I’m capable of doing so much more than just squash. Hence, my life now has opened a world of opportunities by allowing myself to believe I can run a foundation and lead in many ways through sport and education and now, with women’s health and well-being.
Dr Sakia Haque
Dr. Sakia Haque is not only a doctor, social worker and founder of “Travellettes of Bangladesh” – she’s also the first woman to ride a motorcycle through all 64 districts in Bangladesh!
Name a physical journey or destination you’ve visited that has refreshed your perspective on life, and why?
There are too many. To mention one – staying up on the hills at the house of our tribal people, really refreshed my perspective. It was like meditation, seeing the sunrise and sunset from the top of the hills, living with cordial people you don’t even know, collecting fishes and snails for lunch. It sometimes makes you realise how easy you have it.
Sara Jane Ho
Sara Jane Ho, Emmy-nominated host of Netflix’s ‘Mind Your Manners’ and author of a book by the same name, shows that etiquette is a tool for navigating the world with grace and intention.
When faced with obstacles and challenges in life, what (or who) helps to strengthen or rejuvenate you?
I step out of the box, look at the bigger picture, and turn to humour. There is a quote by Oscar Wilde, “To become a spectator of one’s own life is to escape the suffering of life”. Life is full of trials and tribulations; it’s how you handle them that counts.
