SpongeBob Squarepants and friends are back with more adventures, and this time… they’re heading out of the waters and onto the shores of our world! With the secret Krabby Patty formula gets stolen by a pirate named Burger Beard (Antonio Banderas) from our dimension, an apocalypse has wreaked havoc on Bikini Bottom. Watch as SpongeBob (Tom Kenny), Patrick (Bill Fagerbakke), Sandy (Carolyn Lawrence), Squirdward (Rodger Bumpass) and Mr Krabs (Clancy Brown) all set out to a world unknown to them and transforming into superheroes along the way— determined to save their home under the sea.
The 93-minute live-action/comedy/adventure movie is the film sequel based on one of the longest-running Nickelodeon children’s television programs and a childhood favourite for many (even for adults!) If you’re already giggling away at the trailer, make it a family affair to go watch The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water when it comes out in Malaysian cinemas on 5 March 2015.
