We love Zulaikha’s call for all of us to uplift fellow mothers and staying strong. She thanked her mother for having done exactly that for her, and for her best advice, “There’s no one way to be a good parent; you just gotta keep doing the best you can do.”

Amila attributed her independent streak and her strength, to her resourceful mother, and the best advice she ever received. “We must not depend on others to live.” We love her confidence in doing what needs to be done, even when “sometimes, things didn’t go as planned.”

“Sanity above all” is what Angeline remembers when facing a roadblock in the motherhood journey, from potty training, to choosing schools for her children. She remembers this advice from her mother, as she reminds herself that what works for others, may not be the most “logical, sensible and achievable.” (We love that she tagged her own mother to win the goody bag from our partners!)
