Shopping was easy… until you had a child. You don’t have enough hands to juggle a shopping cart, your handbag and a screaming toddler all at once. Plus, bringing along your own stroller is such a hassle because of the bulk and the packing. We narrowed down 12 malls in the Klang Valley where you can rent a stroller… and potentially make your shopping trips a breeze.
The Curve
The Curve at Mutiara Damansara provide two types of baby strollers for rental – One stroller is for babies and toddlers below 10kg and one is for babies and toddler below 15kg. The stroller rentals are free of charge but a deposit of RM50 has to be made at the concierge along with your drivers license or IC which can be reclaimed once the stroller is returned.

Paradigm Mall
Paradigm Mall provides baby stroller services free of charge. A deposit of RM30 will have to be made at the concierge along with your drivers license or identification card which can be reclaimed once the stroller is returned.

Quill City Mall
Quill City Mall has two Halford baby strollers which can only be used for children under 2 years old. There are no rental rates but a drivers license or any other valid ID is required to be deposited at the concierge on level G and will be retrieved once the stroller is returned.

1 Utama Shopping Mall
1 Utama Shopping Mall provides free baby stroller services with no cash deposit required. The services are available at level G on both the new wing and the old wing where a parent our guardian will have to fill up a form and deposit their IC or drivers license which can be retrieved once the stroller is retuned.

Sunway Pyramid
Sunway Pyramid’s baby stroller services can be found at any concierge. A deposit of RM50 will have to be made along with a parent’s or guardian’s drivers license or IC which can be retrieved once the stroller is returned.

Atria Shopping Gallery
Atria Shopping Gallery’s baby stroller services can be found at the concierge on the LG or Concourse level. The service is free of charge but the parent or guardian will have to leave their drivers license and identification card at the desk and reclaim it once the stroller is returned.

Setia City Mall
Seti City Mall has six Halford baby strollers available for rent. The rental is free for the first 2 hours and a fee of RM10 is charged for every subsequent hour. A valid ID must be deposited at the concierge at the centre of level LG on the Blue Zone and an be retrieved once the stroller is returned.

Suria KLCC
With only 6 Maclaren strollers available, KLCC has a strict first-come, first-served policy when it comes to the service. The first 2 hours is on the house but every subsequent hour will be charged RM10. A little heads up, you are not allowed to take the stroller to Aquaria, the convention centre and the outdoor park.

Avenue K
For a cash deposit of RM100, you can loan a baby stroller at Avenue K. The demand for the service hits a spike on Fridays and the weekends, and with the availability of only 2 strollers, be prepared to hustle to get your hands on one. Due to the high demand, the mall recommends a rental period of maximum 3 hours.

Mid Valley Megamall
The best things in life are free and so are the baby stroller rentals at Mid Valley Megamall. You can rent one any time after 10am and are required to return them by 9pm, before the mall closes. Baby strollers are available at the information counters at the North and Centre Court.

The Gardens Mall
Rentals are free for locals while a fee of RM50 is charged for foreigners. Non-Malaysians are required to produce any valid ID at the concierge upon rental. Strollers are limited as there are only 3 available and you are required to return the rental stroller before 9.45pm.

Pavilion KL
It’s no surprise that the luxury shopping mall in KL’s golden triangle has the luxury of having 100 strollers. With Pavilion, there’s hardly a possibility you won’t be able to get your hands on one. All you have to do is produce a valid ID for identification and you’re good to go. Oh, and it’s free!
