Movement Control Order (MCO) or not, the dads in your life deserve something special. If you haven’t planned anything for Father’s Day this Sunday, don’t worry, the #makchicmumtribe has got you covered. Last week, we asked our trusty followers on Instagram to share their plans for Father’s Day. Here are some suggestions for a safe and special celebration.

“Luckily, men are not as complicated as women. Cook his fav (sic) food.” – Ninie

“I am making my kids do a scrapbook for their dad. They’ve compiled their favourite family pictures from our travels and special occasions. Will be adding in some personal notes later. It would be nice to reminisce while we are all stuck at home.” – Aishah

“Family movie night with the kids (his choice) and sexy time for two after.” – Amal

“I recently purchased a resin coaster making kit from Shopee. Might save it as an activity to do during Father’s Day.” – Atiqah

“My kids suggested having a picnic in the garden, and I think it’s a lovely idea. I’m expecting an inflatable pool to be delivered soon. Hopefully, we can have a pool party too.” – Rachel

“The husband is a big poker fan, so I have organised a virtual game night among some family and friends. Hopefully the kids will sleep early so I can join in too.” – Jennifer

“My daughter has been practicing ‘Count on Me’ by Bruno Mars to sing to her dad. Just listening to her practice is already making me emotional (pregnancy hormones!). Can’t wait for him to hear it!” – Farah

“Just a quiet dinner at home with the kids.” – Melissa

“Unfortunately for my husband, I’m not a good cook and our kids are too young for me to outsource any present making too. I’m planning to order takeout from his favourite restaurant.” – Diana

“I’m planning to subscribe to Disney + Hotstar. Will pretend it’s for his Father’s Day gift!” – Amanda

“My daughters and I are planning to set up a home spa and give hubby a facial and a foot massage (I went overboard during the last Sephora sale). I think we will enjoy it more than him!” – Natasha

“My husband usually does the morning routine. So i’m planning to let him sleep in and serve a little brunch in bed.” – Kimberly

“My husband and his brothers have already planned a virtual drinking session with their dad for Father’s Day!” – Serena

“I bought a virtual session with his personal trainer. Going to make it extra special by adding some new workout gear.” – Nadia

“Going for a nice long walk around the neighbourhood. Just the two of us.” – Aina

We hope these suggestions from our #makchicmumtribe will give you some ideas on what you can do with your tribe. Here’s wishing all father figures a Happy Father’s Day!
