Children of all ages love water. Even young babies, who have not yet learned to crawl, may move independently in a pool. Group baby and toddler swimming classes are a great way to socialise, build confidence and teach basic water safety skills. Parents should of course be extra vigilant around water, even during bathing, no matter what age. If you feel that your child would enjoy the bonding, exercise, and fun of a baby and toddler swim class, here are some schools that offer them specifically for infants.

D Swim Academy’s infant aquatic course is the Australian ‘Baby & me’ sequential, developmentally skill-based, water awareness programme. Their aim is to develop a solid foundation in a joyful and stress-free water environment. They also offer the DSA Special Care Swimmers programme, for special needs children aged between 5-15 years old, helping them develop muscle strength, physical endurance and improve behavioural patterns.

3. EPS Sports Academy
EPS Sports Academy has been in operation since 2013 running soccer and swim classes for children. They also conduct swimming intensive holiday programs (along with a soccer intensive, and a general recreational sports camp) during most local and international school holidays. All head coaches are qualified with at least a Sports Science degree and are well equipped to run these fun yet structured sport classes.Â
