1. Inspire Inclusion, Mereka Community

Fancy taking part in a body scrub-making session using aromatic oils? You’ll get to enjoy this, plus hear from a great line up of speakers representing diverse fields at this ‘Inspire Inclusion’ event, held in conjunction with International Women’s Day. There will also be health professionals sharing about menstrual health, PCOS indicators and overall wellness.

3. Storytelling Session, Hikayat Fandom and GMBB

4. Fire Station Visit, IBU

5. March 2024 – Get together, Children’s Picture Book Association of Malaysia

This is a great event for those interested to be part of the picture book community. Hear from author Puan Mahaya Mohd Yassin, on keeping a journal as a form of inspiration and therapy. Dr Murni Wan Mohd Nor, author of When Love Heals Hate (whom makchic has recently interviewed) will also be featured.

6. Tribute to Michael Jackson with The klpac Symphonic Band

A musical tribute to the King of Pop himself! Watch out for a Jackson 5 medley, as well as some of MJ’s greatest hits, such as Bad, Beat It and Thriller. All performed by the klpac Symphonic Band made up of a great ensemble of brass, wind and percussion players.

7. Storytelling Shakespeare Macbeth, KL Shakespeare Players

Are you familiar with the story of Shakespeare’s Macbeth? Then, this interactive storytelling session backed by weird and wonderful music might just be for you! The music in this production is performed by the Bentley Music Academy Malaysia.

Workshops for the kids

1. Business Case Challenge, Rich Hero Edu

This two-day workshop aims to get young people to address the challenges faced by social enterprises catering to the differently-abled and marginalised communities. Participants will visit the Seven Tea One Kitchen, conduct interviews, share their experiences, identify challenges and problem-solve, while pitching their solutions to judges.

5. Monologue Workshop & Competition for Teens, Hush the Theatre KL
