The amazing Nickelodeon Playground is back! If you need some ideas for the school holidays, look no further than Nickelodeon Playground at the Sunway Velocity Mall this December.
With a chock-full of fun activities and workshops offered this time around, children (and mums and dads) will be seriously spoilt for choice. Look out for these exciting and vibrant activities at the Ground Floor, Vanity Atrium from December 13th – 26th. Best of all, all activities are free!
What’s in store at the Nickelodeon Playground this time around?
1) Kids Playground – Paw Patrol Paw-some Slide
You won’t have to sell this very hard to your kids – slide with Chase, Marshall, Rubble and gang again and again! Kids can join Paw Patrol in their mission to keep a lookout for trouble at the interactive Paw Tower at the playland. Simply climb up the steps and look out from the top, then take a slide down into a cushiony foam pit – what could be more fun for fans of these rescue dogs in training. As it is very popular, sit back, relax, and watch your child have a blast. Oh, don’t forget to wear socks at all times!
2) Blaze and the Monster Machines Kiddie Car Ride
This has been a hit with children at the playground, so make sure your kids come and have a go with these roaring little cars. Kids will surely have fun with Blaze as they get to drive their own car. You can opt for manual manoeuvring or by remote control, so don’t worry mums and dads!
3) Shimmer & Shine
Fans of Shimmer & Shine can meet and greet the adorable twin genies-in-training at the concourse on the 15th, 16th and 22nd of December at the Ground Floor, Vanity Atrium. The sessions are at 1pm, 3pm, 5pm and 7pm, so make sure you stop by with the kids!
4) Kids’ Colouring Corner
If you want some quiet time from the excitement, you can also bring the children to the Kids’ Colouring Corner which will open from 10am to 10pm at the Nickelodeon Playground from December 13 – 26th. Perfect for some winding down after all the bustling about!
5) Sandwich Making Workshop by O’briens Irish Sandwich Cafe
If you would like your child to be more independent around the kitchen, here’s a good little introduction. O’briens Irish Sandwich Cafe will be teaching a Sandwich Making Workshop on the 15th, 16th and 22nd December at 12pm. Make your way there to learn how to make delicious sandwiches!
6) Cake Decorating Workshop by 123Bake
Baking with kids is said to be one of the best things you can do to teach them patience and concentration. So join the cake decorating workshops with kids organised by 123Bake! This special workshop will be held on December 25th at 12pm, please do secure your slots by registering!
7) Christmas Tea Party with Vic & Val!
If you’re looking for sweet little Christmas treats for the children, make sure you book a spot for the Christmas Tea Party with Vic & Val! Held on the 23rd December at 4pm and 25th December, Christmas Day at 2pm, your kids will be having a lovely time at this very special tea party.
8) Kids’ Road Safety Special with JPJ
Increasing your children’s safety awareness is important, and how cool will it be for them to learn about road safety from road transport officers! Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan (JPJ) is conducting a Kids’ Road Safety Special this 23rd of December to educate kids about road safety. It is first come, first served, so make sure you are there for the 2pm session.
9) kOkO Block ALL day activities
Parents know how little ones love playing with blocks, so check out the many fun educational activities held by kOkO Block at the Ground Floor (in front of Padini).
These will be held from November 23rd to January 1st, from 10am to 10pm. You may even get special promotions during this period when you drop by, so don’t miss out!
10) Music Workshop by Gymboree
Who doesn’t love a good music workshop, and one held by veterans Gymboree at that? Let your kiddos have a blast with musical instruments and a chance to play with others at this fun workshop. Held on the 16th at 2pm, and 25th of December at 4pm, come by the Ground Floor at the Vanity Atrium.
11) Kids’ Art Workshop by Cardboard Country
Art allows children to express themselves and use their imagination. Bring them to this Kids’ Art Workshop held by Cardboard Country on 22 Dec 4pm, 23 Dec 12pm, and 25 Dec 6pm to let them have a go at creating their own masterpieces. Make sure you head to the Ground Floor, Vanity Atrium at for this!
12) Children’s Clay Art Workshop by Yenji
Give your children a wonderful opportunity to try clay art in this special workshop by Yenji! Let them get all busy and creative with their hands, and see how proud they will be with their own clay creations. Held on December 15th at 6pm on the Ground Floor, Vanity Atrium.
