We went into the wilderness just for you mamas, and checked out the exciting events at Sunway Putra Mall’s Nature Kidventure extravaganza! Happening from 25th February 2022 to 20th March 2022, Sunway Putra Mall is the place to be if you’re looking for a nature-based, educational mini-excursion over the school holidays. Take a closer look at their exploratory 5D Nature Sensory Hub, and find out how this setup seeks to engage your five senses for an immersive and engaging learning experience!
5D Nature Sensory Hub
Sight
We had a feast for our eyes, with everything green, wild, and nature-related…from tree stumps and growing mushrooms, to cute little tortoises (they’re real!).
Smell
For an olfactory experience (which also makes for a fun guessing game with the kids!), take in the scents of nature and play ‘Guess The Smell’ from the array of potted herbs available at the Hub.
Touch
The kids were intrigued by the 3D Marvellous Minibeast touch board, and were delighted to discover how bugs of the wild feel like. (For the record, you’re getting the real deal here- these are preserved bugs you will be touching!)
Taste
Parents, rest your tired feet as you sit down for a short cuppa. We had a refreshing break as we sipped our tea* (disposable cups are also available), learning about leaves and the origins of our drink.

Sound
With the soothing sounds of nature accompanying us in the background, we took the time to stop, listen, and allow ourselves to be transported to the great outdoors!
Activities and Games
In addition to the Nature Hub, a variety of other entertaining activities also await visitors! Look forward to fun-filled moments at the Edutainment Hub, Level 4, on weekends, with Life-sized Board Games, Colouring and Sand Art Activities running every Saturday and Sunday, from 4pm to 5pm.
A Safe Space
To allay Covid-related concerns, this family-friendly mall also strives to keep visitors safe, with stringent SOPs and social distancing measures in place. Precautions at the Hub include limiting the number of visitors to only 30 at any given point in time, periodic sanitisation (with fogging disinfection done every 4 hours at high-touch point areas), and hand sanitisers placed at every section.
