If you ever find yourself in 1 Mont Kiara Mall, be sure to stop by Noriter, a new café specially designed around babies and tots. The café is new on the block and opened their doors less than a month ago on 18 October. Upon meeting Jason and Jamie, the young Korean couple behind Noriter, we couldn’t help but ask the background story on the name of the café. As it turns out, Noriter means playground in Korean!
Situated on the second floor, Noriter looks very inviting with its bright colours and natural sunlight. On the menu, you can munch on light and healthy bites like sandwiches and a juice box or opt for their Korean specialties like bingsu or noodle set. Prices typically range between RM10 to RM20. If you’re very particular about feeding your baby restaurant food, you’ll be happy to know that Noriter’s menu and ingredients were planned with young babies in mind, so no extra sugar and additives here.
The café has a play area for babies and young tots below 4 years old. The space is spacious, has mats for cushioned floors and is filled with fun baby learning toys. Entrance fee for the playground is RM10 but if you spend more than RM20 at Noriter, entrance is free. Noriter also has a baby room in their café. It’s nice and cosy, and has all your nappy changing essentials.
