Curly-haired Alfie may be all but 2 years of age, but he has already begun modeling for Lokal Fella, an online clothing brand founded by parents Azlan and Alia. Whilst preparing for the arrival of Alfie in 2013, his parents realised that there was a gap in the market for boys’ clothes and hence decided to bridge this gap with Lokal Fella.
Don’t worry though, the tees aren’t made just for boys – little girls are also decked out in Lokal Fella tees, hashtagging their Instagram images with #iamlokalfella. Its signature graphic t-shirts for toddlers aged 1-4 comes in a shade of black and white, with sizes ranging from small to large. All of the designs are meticulously created by Azlan who’s a graphic designer.
Available in various designs, the t-shirts come with rolled up sleeves to give the outfit an edgy feel. Measurements on site also help parents gauge sizes prior to purchase, making online shopping a breeze. Lokal Fella has garnered positive feedback since its inception in December last year and the brand is planning to open a physical store in the future.
Priced at RM 50 and below per t-shirt, orders can be made online and shipping abroad is possible as well. Those who wish to collect their purchases in person can do so at Lokal Fella’s office in Kota Damansara.
