Kids have creativity that knows no boundaries, which is why a Petaling Jaya-based company called Little Paper Crate is offering a monthly arts and craft subscription service to hone in on kids’ raw talents and curiousity.
Here’s how it works: Each month, Little Paper Crate will curate a box of tried-and-tested projects for 3- to 6-year-olds. They then pack it along with a set of materials and easy-to-follow instructions and send it right to your doorstep.
The activities and themes vary from month to month. Last month’s theme, for instance, is all about getting kids to spend time outdoors. Apart from teaching kids about nature and encouraging them to make a trip to places such as the Kuala Lumpur Bird Park and Farm in the City, the box also includes instructions on how to make their own bubble blowing products. While it’s all fun and crafty, it also aims to teach kids that the building of a product is just as interesting as the end results.
