- From 9.15am to 1.00pm, Nexus’ campus will transform into a whirlwind of excitement and laughter. As they mark 15 years of educational excellence and proudly stand as one of Malaysia’s leading IBDP schools, Nexus is ready to share the love with the community. For the first time ever, the school is opening its gates to welcome everyone to join in for the jubilant celebrations.
So bring along your picnic mats, sit down with your families at the school field, and settle in for an unforgettable party in the park with Nexus – filled to the brim with live entertainment, good food and fun games!

What else?
Nexus offers an outstanding international education for learners aged 3 to 18 years, whilst providing an international boarding experience for kids aged 10 years and up. Nexus’ proceeds from the fair will go toward the Autism Cafe Project, based in Petaling Jaya and established in 2016 with a prime objective of securing the future independence of youth with autism.
Come with kids of all ages as there will be plenty to do and see (for parents too, trust us!). Some of their awesome Co-curricular Activities (CCA) providers will also be on hand to conduct some great activities. Pre-register for the event, and get set for an unforgettable day filled with fun, laughter, and a whole lot of heart.

Fun on the Field
Tip: Bring your own picnic mat and throw a picnic on the school field with other families with live entertainment, good food and fun games!
- For kids of all ages, we’ve got a world of inflatable wonders such as bouncy castles, plus giant bubble play by Bubbles & Beans.
- Be entertained by (drumroll, please!) the current best student band in Asia – Sound Cheque – who won the KS3 Category at FOBISIA Battle of the Bands 2024, and 5 other bands from the school made up of the school’s very talented superstar students!
Tell Me About the Food!
- The best news: FREE milk and yogurt cups (limited to 1 cup per person) from the Farm Fresh Milk Malaysia’s truck. Their range of yummy milk products will also be on sale on the day.
- Krispy Kreme is dropping by for your fix of sweet treats with their fluffy doughnuts.
- Food trucks serving Asian fare like pipping hot Char Kway Teow and yummy fried rice by Wan Seven Cafe 96.
- Kids will love the pizza options by Alla Piccola Italia (API) Pizza Putrajaya or Tex Mex cuisine by Gringo’s.
- Time to cool down? Head on over to Brotani Juice Club for some cold-pressed juices and coffees. Also, kids will love the icy gelato by TUG Gelato by The Unusual Greens, such a treat!

1. Wall Climbing by Morph Outdoors (Nexus’ CCA provider)

A wall climbing activity which is sure to keep your kids adrenaline going! Each session lasts about 20 minutes and is absolutely free.

2. Pathfinder, Morph Outdoors

Let your kids learn essential outdoor skills they would need while camping like fire building, knife handling and also marshmallow roasting. Each session lasts 20 minutes.

3. Drone Soccer by CyberSphere (Nexus’ CCA provider)

A fun activity for the kids where they get to manoeuvre drones in a game of Drone Soccer. Let them show off their skills, anticipate their opponents’ moves and have all round fun!

4. Archery by Panah Lagenda (Nexus’ CCA provider)

5. Capoeira Workshop by Capoeira Cordão de Ouro Malaysia

Another absolutely free activity where kids can get a feel of this martial art under the guidance of experts. Each session will run for 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on the age group.

6. Messy Play by Messy Play Don’t Care

The small ones will definitely delight in these fun (and oh-so-messy!) sensory activities. Choose an activity from their Messy Play, Slime or Playdough station or opt for all stations.

7. Serious Fun Adventures by The Little Gym Malaysia

One of the most renowned kid-friendly gyms in Malaysia is dropping by! Bring the young ones for some rolling and tumbling at The Little Gym Malaysia’s fun mat area. Did we mention this is absolutely free?

8. Decopatch Project by CzipLee

Malaysia’s homegrown concept store is here to run a fun activity where creative kids can decorate and patch items. You also have the chance to purchase some of their books, activity kits and more. More details to come.

9. Mini Batik Painting by Earth Heir

Try your hand at a fun mini batik painting activity here. They will also be selling a host of products including artisanal jewellery pieces, handwoven bags and pouches, leather made accessories, handmade soaps and more, which are all made in Malaysia.

10. Bracelet and Keychain Making by The Sea Monkey Project

Bring home your very own sea create keychain by learning how to make upcycled products using 2-in-1 upcycling machines. You can also make a bracelet of your own. There will also be a free comic colouring activity too.

11. Card Games with The Nurts

12. Fun Storytelling for the Kids!

Check out free storytelling sessions by local authors Kimberly Lee and Liyana Taff for What if?, their very useful book on body safety and boundaries targetted at the little ones. Kimberly will also be doing a reading from her latest picture book, Boys Don’t Fry, which was recently awarded an Honourable Mention in the 2023 Freeman Book Awards.

13. Smoothie Bowl Workshop by Brotani Juice Club

Be sure to drop by the Brotani Juice Club station at the festival to fuel up on your fresh cold-pressed juices and coffee. They will also be running this workshop where kids will get to make their very own healthy smoothie bowl!

14. Cupcake Decorating, Autism Cafe Project

Founded as a social enterprise, the Autism Cafe Project provides hope to those aged over 17 years with autism or special needs. Take the opportunity to work alongside those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) as they guide you through decorating your very own cupcake!
Special Note: Parts of the proceeds raised at Party in the Park 2024 go to support the important work by Autism Cafe Project. Not only will you have fun at the celebration, you will also support a worthy cause!

15. Create Your Own Perfume by ARK Lifestyle & Workshop

Create your own unique scent in this Perfume Workshop class. Ark Workshop and Lifestyle was established in 2019, as a homegrown retail store and a curator of style, taste and the eruditeness in the local market. Activity will only proceed if all available slots are pre-registered and paid for by 12th June.
