From 6 to 7 September, 1 Utama Shopping Centre’s Highstreet will be hosting Urban Mom 2014, a free outreach programme for parents in the Klang Valley.
The inaugural event features live interactive sessions where parents will be able to discuss the challenges of modern parenting and children’s health with other parents and volunteer doctors from DoktorBudak. Urban Mom 2014 will also unveil DoktorBudak’s revamped look.
DoktorBudak, for the uninitiated, is a website where you can consult local paediatricians online and for free. Started as an outreach project by Dr. Zahilah Filzah Zulkifli and Dr. Foo Chee Hoe, DoktorBudak now has 25 dedicated volunteer medical experts on board.
