First Look: Bugaboo X Andy Warhol’s “Happy Bugs” & “So Many Stars” Collaboration

The Bugaboo collaborations are always exciting and often have a high wantability factor. The brand’s second collaboration with The Andy Warhol Foundation is no exception. Launching in November, the collection consists of a range of stroller accessories based on Warhol’s pre-pop period, when he was a famed commercial illustrator in New York City.

Happy Bugs

Bugaboo Happy Bugs

Featuring Warhol’s earliest piece, Happy Bug Day, this print will be available as a Bugaboo Tailored Fabric Set for the Bugaboo Cameleon3 and the Bugaboo Donkey, and as a Bugaboo Sun Canopy for the Bugaboo Bee and the Bugaboo Donkey duo extension set. The fabrics have been double printed which gives the bug print inside the hood as well as outside. Completing the set are the adorable Bugaboo Baby Cocoon and the Bugaboo Footmuff in white.

So Many Stars

SMStars

Based on Warhol’s So Many Stars illustration from the late 1950’s, the collection’s vibrant colours will be available as a Bugaboo Tailored Fabric Set for the Bugaboo Cameleon3 and a Bugaboo Sun Canopy for the Bugaboo Bee. With each purchase of the “So Many Stars” collection, Bugaboo will offer an exclusive So board book for children, which highlights rediscovered So images by Andy Warhol, some of which have never before been published.

The line ranges approximately from RM472 to RM779. Starting November, Happy Bugs will be available in-stores worldwide, while So Many Stars will be available in selected stores. In Malaysia, keep an eye out for retailers such as First Few Years and Bebehaus to carry the collection.
