Session 1 – Nurture & Navigate: Embracing Life’s Transitions

Guests will be inspired by the stories of women who have courageously embraced change. The session promises intuitive and interactive reflections designed to nurture the soul and encourage participants to view life’s transitions as opportunities for growth and renewal.
Balancing Motherhood
Motherhood brings immense joy but also constant demands. In this session, Liyana Taff draws from her own journey of navigating major shifts while balancing family responsibilities and personal aspirations. She will guide participants through strategies for embracing change, building resilience, and reframing challenges as opportunities for growth.
Major Life Change
Transitions such as career shifts, evolving relationships, or personal loss can feel overwhelming—but they also open doors to personal growth and renewal. In this session, Vatsala Nair Manoharan will share her own transformative journey of overcoming life changes, redefining purpose, and building impactful social movements.
Self-Exploration
Beyond roles and responsibilities lies the deeper journey of self-discovery. Speaker New Su Shern will invite participants to pause, reflect, and reconnect with their evolving sense of identity. Drawing from her rich experiences in mentoring and community leadership, Su Shern will encourage participants to embrace change—not as a setback, but as an opportunity to realign with their core values and chart purposeful new directions in life.
Session 2 – Wealth & Worth: Building Wealth & Purpose Your Way

This session aims to empower women to take charge of their financial identity and equip them with the knowledge and tools to take confident control of their financial future. Attendees will learn from leadership coach Kho Min-Jee, as she discusses and shares quick lessons and practical tips in healthy money mindset and tools for effective money management towards long term goals. Participants gain to walk away with not just knowledge, but the confidence to take charge of their financial journey.
Session 3 – Strength & Self-Care: The Shift Within

This session invites participants to pause, reflect, and reconnect with themselves. In this session, Huda Ameran will share practical wellness tips and personal insights on balancing inner strength with self-care, guiding participants to embrace small but powerful shifts that nurture resilience, clarity, and a renewed sense of purpose.
Session 4 – Polished & Powerful: Grooming for All Roles

This session explores grooming as a tool for self-expression and confidence. Guided by professional color analyst, Ummi Nasir, participants will learn makeup fundamentals that highlight individuality, versatile looks for day-to-night, and time-saving grooming hacks for busy lives. Attendees will leave with simple, impactful techniques to present themselves with poise and confidence in any role.

She founded the #10Ringgit campaign to shift mindsets and enable women to leave abusive relationships, and #RingARing4Roses to promote bystander intervention in domestic violence. Through training, she helps women and entrepreneurs build authentic brands and impactful digital narratives. Su Shern is the Executive Director of RatioCause. What is makchic IRL: The Reset?
makchic IRL: The Reset is makchic’s women-focused event, created to support and celebrate women who are ready to return to work after career breaks or life transitions. The Reset is inspired by makchic’s acclaimed Returnship Programme, which celebrates women who are bold and brave enough to embrace life’s changes — and who are ready to chart new paths with purpose, confidence, and renewed strength.
This gathering, happening from 10.00am-3.00pm, 7th November 2025, at KLoé Hotel, KL is designed as a safe, inspiring space for women to pause, reflect, and reset. Through four specially curated sessions led by experienced women who’ve walked these journeys themselves, participants will:

What are the best options for getting to the venue?

Yes! KLoé Hotel has kindly prepared a private and quiet space for mothers who wish to express milk. If you’d like to use this facility, please inform our makchic staff during registration.
