The ibu Family Resource Group is a veteran when it comes to providing childhood information and services to Malaysian families, as they have been doing so for over 25 years. Their aim is to connect families and to supply a platform to share issues and solutions on parenting and does this by organising playgroups, free baby clinics and talks on a regular basis.
In lieu of Malaysia Day, ibu will open their doors to the public for a week-long celebration. There will be plenty of activities at the open house, for parents and for their children. Kids can enjoy themselves at a themed playground, storytelling and arts & crafts, while parents can sit in for free talks on pregnancy, breastfeeding and early childhood education. In case you were wondering, admission to all these events is free. Ibu will also be giving out daily prizes, giveaways and membership deals.
The open house will be held from the 8 September and will end with a potluck party from 9.30am to 12.30pm on the 13 September 2014 at the ibu house, No.2, Jalan Sri Hartamas 9, Taman Sri Hartamas, 50480, KL. So bring your favourite party dish and come in a traditional Malaysian costume!
