Photographer Ivette Ivens has embarked on a project to normalise breastfeeding. Breastfeeding Goddesses is a series of photographs that features portraits of mothers nursing their children in nature as a reminder that nursing is “a totally normal thing.”
“My own experience inspired me to spread the word and encourage other mothers, as well as non-mothers to see breastfeeding the way it’s supposed to be seen,” Ivette told Mashable. “My message is simple: anywhere, anytime.”
