A familiar name to most brunch and cafe goers, Antipodean set up its second largest branch at Atria Shopping Centre in May this year. Nestled within the Damansara Jaya neighbourhood and located near a few schools, it’s a convenient breakfast spot for you to grab a bite with your little one in tow.
What’s more, the Atria outlet has a kids’ play section right in the middle of the seating area. With a television, colourful toddler-sized stools and a good variety of toys to play with, your child can stay occupied while you enjoy your meal. Parents are encouraged to sit close to the play area, which is surrounded by a see-through lattice that allows you to keep an eye on your kids.
Antipodean’s extensive range presents many delicious kid-friendly dishes, even though it does not have a kids-only menu. Here are several favourites:
Fluffy babycino (RM5)
Butterscotch and ice cream waffles (RM20)
Banana pancake with butterscotch (RM16)
Pumpkin sage feta pasta (RM18)
Butter-free chocolate cake – probably a favourite because of the marshmallows on top!
Another feature to note at this branch is that you can view the menu on your phone by snapping the QR code off the wall. With Antipodean’s signature style where its menu is written on a blackboard wall, this allows customers to take their time and have a seat while browsing through the yummy selections available.
