Lost and Found – Gardner and Wife Theatre

Take your kids to this delightful magical and musical show titled Lost and Found based on the best-selling picture book by award-winning children’s author, Oliver Jeffers. Elmhurst Ballet School Audition in Malaysia

For ballet enthusiasts or aspirants aged 9 to 19 years of age, Elmhurst Ballet – a world-renowned centre of excellence for the training and education of ballet dancers- will be holding audtions as per the following details:

A Tale that Must be Told: Macbeth by DPAC and KL Shakespeare Players – Shakespeare Demystified

Calling all Shakespeare lovers, be you big or small! DPAC and KL Shakespeare Players – Shakespeare Demystified brings this family-friendly production of the Bard’s Macbeth, targeted at 7 to 12 year-olds.  It premiered in September 2017 at the Kuala Lumpur International Arts Festival 2017 and received positive feedback from students, teachers and parents alike.

The play which is delivered in contemporary English (generously peppered with some famous phrases from the original play), in a bid to introduce the wonderful yet complex workings of Shakespeare in a fun and exciting way for a younger audience.

Video Production Workshop by TeenEdge

TeenEdge introduces another newly launched Dream programme – Video Production! Have any of your kids ever wanted to direct and produce a video? Do they have a fantastic story that they would like to turn into a short film? Here is where you can help them get started on their exciting new creative adventure. TeenEdge will assist your creative young ones by providing practical hands-on learning with mentor guidance and they will be able to produce their very own short film at the end of the programme.

Comprehensive Wagashi Course – ILOHA Culture Centre ‘Cooking and Language Studio’

Wagashi plays an important part in the Japanese tea ceremony. The focus of the ceremony, however, isn’t really about making tea, but about the aesthetically-pleasing manner in which the Teishu (tea host) prepares it. Participants of this Comprehensive Wagashi Course will get to learn how to make Wagashi from a professional in this class designed for those 15 years of age and above. It’s not just a dessert, but an art!

The Greatest International Circus

If you haven’t heard, there’s a new circus in town – The Great International Circus brought to you by Quill City Mall. The circus acts feature stage acrobatics, aerial acrobatics, magic shows and much more. Showtimes are every Monday to Thursday at 8:30 p.m. whereas on Friday, weekends or even during public holidays, there are two shows per day at 5.30pm and 8.30pm respectively.

Adventures in the Magical Kingdom – Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra

The King of the Magical Kingdom of Far, Far Away is in town and invites you to accompany him to a Grand Ball. The guests begin to arrive and we meet Puss in Boots, Robin Hood and encounter some familiar cartoon characters. The Ball commences with the Sleeping Beauty Waltz and then we finish by dancing to some more up-to-date numbers like Be Our Guest, Colours of the Wind, Prince Ali and A Frozen Fantasy. First Aid at Home

Be Your Own Sherlock

Ballet Illuminations Malaysia Tour

The entire Singapore Dance Theatre (SDT) team will be coming down to KLPAC to perform at the upcoming Ballet Illuminations 2018. This will be the first time SDT would be performing for two weeks. To top it off, unlike before, this is also the first time when all 34 dancers will be performing for three shows (classical, contemporary and children’s ballet).

Junior Rainforest Detectives with Timo the Tapir

Timo the Tapir is back in NEC this March! This time all participants will become rainforest detectives, where they will focus on animals’ homes in the rainforest, as well as their food and feeding behaviour. This will be followed by a storytelling session – “Why Don’t I Look Like You” – featuring Timo the Tapir by Anak Rimba Books. Let your children immerse themselves in a natural environment and feel the connection between the story and nature.
