You may still be getting used to writing ‘2017’, but in a flash, ladies and gents, we have reached the middle of the year. Here are some events you can attend and activities to enjoy with your children in the months of June and July!

 

Cooking at Pusat Kreatif Kanak-kanak Tuanku Bainun

Three exciting days for your children to learn some kitchen and cooking skills. Not only do your kids get to prep the food, they also get to shop for produce, use cooking utensils and learn the art of food presentation. The Young Chef program also allows kids to learn through taste, smell, texture and colour as they cook.

Genting International Children’s Festival

Activities to Look Out for in Malaysia in June and July

Genting has kicked off the school holidays with the resort-wide Genting International Children’s Festival. Come for the fun and exciting activities, such as cheerleading, a Cosplay meet and greet, a Forest Fairies Ballet Dance as well as a brass ensemble.

Breastfeeding workshop

Brought to you by Pigeon and the Sunway Medical Centre, the Successful Journey to Breastfeeding Workshop is something all mommies-to-be can look forward to. The event aims to provide useful information and tips on breastfeeding as well as other topics like baby massage and newborn skin conditions.

Camping

Organised by the Mad About Education group, this activity is a great one for fathers and their children. Moms can sit back for this one, as it is a two-days, one-night camp that will allow their husbands and kids to bond.

Dinosaurs Alive in Kuala Lumpur

Yes, you heard that right – dinosaurs will be back to thrill the children of Kuala Lumpur! Head to MaTiC Lanai (Malaysia Tourism Centre) in the city as the people behind The Creative Alliance Exhibitions bring over 30 life-size roaring animatronic creatures.
