Held from June 8 – 24, this year’s annual carnival has plenty of fun games and activities, as well as a headlining storytelling competition you will not want to miss.

Do you have a talented and precocious kid? If the answer is yes, you may want to check out this year’s VeloKiddie Carnival at Sunway Velocity Mall during the upcoming school holidays. While last year’s festival was just about rides, giant inflatables and games, this year’s edition will also incorporate a special focus on kids who can tell a good story.
Children who have a knack for story-telling stand a chance to win prizes worth up to RM12,000. The competition is open to kids aged 9-12 years old so be sure to come on down on June 16 and 23 to show some support for the talented participants!
Games and Activities
Last year’s carnival saw many families having plenty of fun, and this year there will be no less excitement.
From games to free workshops, children will also get to enjoy popcorn giveaways, clown magic shows, balloon sculpting and more. In keeping with the story-telling, there will also be a special interactive story-telling session by Aunt McPhee. Here, enthusiastic kids with an interest in story-telling can pick up a tip or two from Aunt McPhee.
A carnival wouldn’t be a carnival without games and shoppers can delight in the ultra-cool games on offer. For every RM50 they spend (or RM30 for HSBC credit cardholders), they can redeem 20 tokens to play the games for special prizes worth up to RM1,000.

The VeloKiddie Carnival may be the big draw for kids, but as Sunway Velocity Mall is a one-stop experiential mall, it is bound to be a fun experience that will fulfil the entire family’s needs.
Just head over to the 3F area, in front of Makan Makan by Parkson, to enjoy this year’s carnival. Children can also sign up as a VeloKiddie member for free, getting them some cool discounts, freebies and privileges at the mall’s shops and restaurants.
