5 Reasons Why You Shouldn’t Miss the Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta

MyBalloonFiesta returns with yet another exciting four-day event that is perfect for a quick getaway with the family! And it’s just in time for the school holidays. The annual event, which is organised by AKA Balloon Sdn Bhd and Perbadanan Putrajaya, is happening 12-15 March and jam-packed with crowd-favourite events.

Here are 5 things you can’t miss at the 7th Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon Festival 2015:

1. Hot Air Balloon Show
The Fiesta’s major attraction showcases balloons of all shapes and sizes. (Look out for the Van Gogh balloon making its first appearance in Malaysia!) There are also tethered rides so you can feel for yourself what it’s like being in a hot air balloon. A great tip when you’re planning: if you missed the 7am morning session, there is another session later in the evening at 6pm.

Entrance: 7am onwards

2. Extreme Zone
Have you walked in a gigantic balloon envelope or rolled around in Hamster Ball? Try these and other adrenaline-pumping activities like Paintball, Bumper Orbing, Outdoor Laser Tag, and SoloSkyRider while you’re at it!

Location: Green Zone
Entrance: All day
Price: RM5 – RM20

3. Kids Play Area
No kid would say no to bouncing all day in inflatable castles! Other kid-friendly activities include Archery, Car Simulator and Choo Choo Train.

Location: Yellow Zone
Price: RM5 – RM15

4. Foodgasm Fest
As the name implies, it’s a feast for gastronomic enthusiasts! Besides, what’s a festival without food?

Location: Purple Zone

5. Night Glow
Watch in awe as brightly lit hot air balloons dance to synchronised music in the Putrajaya skyline each night during the festival. this 12 & 13 March 2015. Top it off with spectacular fireworks finale on 14th and 15th March.

Entrance: 6pm, weather-permitting and limited to 300 visitors/day p/session
Price: RM20
