What started as a father’s concern for his child’s sensitive skin, has now grown into the world’s largest collection of certified organic babycare products with presence in over ten countries!
Buds Organics started in 2004 when siblings and co-founders Soo Siew Peng and Soo Kian Kheng (KK) had the dream to create skincare products that are natural, pure and eco-friendly. With KK’s experience in chemical engineering, they experimented in Siew Peng’s kitchen using unused pots and pans to address KK’s daughter’s eczema-prone skin. What resulted is now known as the Super Soothing range, one of Buds’ bestselling products.

As a former Chief Financial Officer of a Fortune 500 company, Siew Peng shared that things weren’t always smooth sailing when they first started. Her savings from her cushiony job depleted quickly and she even had to remortgage her house at one point. However, with the encouragement from their late father, and their commitment to turn their shared dream into a reality, the siblings persevered.
