I-City Theme Park

Lights, lights and more lights to make your little ones go ‘wow’. This theme park opens at 5pm but the glittery magic begins when the sun goes down. There are many attractions in its outdoor spaces, such as the Mist Fountain and Dancing Waters display, as well as a variety of food stores available for the whole family. It may take more than a visit to cover it all, unless you are willing to stay till closing time!

outdoor-spaces-6Messy Play

A playgroup activity held at various open-air locations in the Klang Valley. These sessions allow babies and toddlers to play with all their senses, exploring different textures and materials such as clay, paint, sand. And yes, Messy Play lives up to its name – your babies and toddlers will be making a big mess, so bring an extra change of clothes for both you and your tots. Bring them over in clothes you would not mind them getting dirty in! To learn more or to book a spot, check out https://www.instagram.com/playgroup_nestkl/.

outdoor-spaces-3 Shah Alam Botanical Park

This park has been around since 1986 and has changed its name many times. There are various attractions such as an animal park, the Four Season Temperate House, a camp site, dams, lakes, a swimming pool and much more. It is best to rent a bicycle at the entrance or to drive as the park is huge and the shuttle only drops you off at one stop – the animal park. If you’re bringing a baby, the toilets in this park are not baby-friendly, so bring your changing mat. For the opening hours and rates, go to the park’s website at http://www.tbnsa.gov.my/en/web/guest/home.

Completely free of cages, the animals roam free in special enclosures that mimic their natural habit as closely as possible.
